fragments, screeching
tears of blood ...
a vision fades

jagged lightpoints rip,
tear into forced shapes
dying, denying, crying
blackness rimmed
shape-shifting flame
stutters

soullight dies quietly
infinitely silenced,
deepening chasms
stretch, reflect
